This 4-week webinar is a total of 8 hours. 12:00 pm EASTERN TIME
Dates: Saturdays, October 25, November 1, 15 and 22

Are you ready to add variety to your therapeutic music sound with a new musical mode or two? Expand your musical horizons by going deeper into how to play the musical modes.

The methods taught in this multi-week webinar come from the facilitator’s recently published book, Discover the Musical Modes on the Native American Style Flute. The webinar’s information is presented through playing on the Native American style flute, but can apply to any instrument and give you instant access to understanding the musical modes, pointing out their characteristic sounds.

OPEN TO GRADUATES AND STUDENTS OF MHTP and of other NSBTM-accredited programs. This 8–hour webinar is $360. CMPs and graduates of other NSBTM-accredited programs earn 8 CEUs. Attendees receive all recordings of the webinar and handout materials, and complimentary access to the instructor’s online course that reinforces the material presented (a $140 value).

It is recommended that attendees buy the book, although it is geared toward NAF players, the theory and visuals are highly applicable to all instruments.

“This course gives you thorough immersion into each mode so you understand the required notes, how best to play them (since there are options!), and have a true feel for how they sound and why you would want to play them. Ami is a natural teacher who teaches with joy, enthusiasm, and encouragement! The modes course is a gem! “ -Mary Misiaszek, student.
