Tips on How to Get Employed as a Therapeutic Musician…a Unique Journey

Sunday, October 19, 4:00 – 6:00 PM EDT

A recent MHTP graduate shares tips on her success of finding jobs providing live therapeutic music to patients in a variety of settings. Learn and share your own tips about  going from a volunteer in your Independent Practicum to getting paid for your services.

Not just for CMPs, current students will also gain tips in this detailed discussion of finding employment after graduation. OPEN TO GRADUATES AND STUDENTS OF MHTP and of other NSBTM-accredited programs.

This two-hour webinar is $45. CMPs and graduates of other NSBTM-accredited programs earn 2 CEUs. Attendees receive the recording of the webinar and handout materials. Facilitated by Brynn Albanese, CMP

Hear ways to make a lasting impact with healthcare staff to highlight the effect of live therapeutic music. What can you do to stand out to the people who can hire you? How do you foster your point person in a healthcare facility?

Certified on the violin, Brynn Albanese has been a CMP since 2023. That same year she graduated from the International End of Life Doula Association. She works as a CMP for Dignity Health Central Coast providing therapeutic music for patients and staff in five different facilities on the Central Coast.

With support under the non-profit umbrella of Ecologistics, her work with her business Pneuma Melodies, extends to Memory Care Centers, Homeless Services, Behavior Wellness, Addiction Treatment and for the Developmentally Disabled. Brynn is preparing to apply for TEDx/TED Talks. Learn more about Brynn at www.brynnalbanese.com.
