2026 CMP Employment Survey

Employment Survey responses are valuable in giving ideas and actions to CMPs for use in offering their services to healthcare facilities. The data that we collect also helps healthcare administrators understand the value in providing paid work opportunities for CMPs.

Results

The survey results showed that most CMPs work in an urban (36.2%) or Suburban (50.5%) environment and about 77% work under 10 hours per week. Most CMPs (71.8%) are satisfied with their current weekly hours. The fee per hour ranged greatly, depending on locale. About 54% answered that they make between $50 and $89 per hour. Those who are paid more than $100 per hour represented 6% of respondents.
