Repertoire Development Webinar: Cognitively Impaired Patients aged 60-80

This event is 4:00 pm EASTERN TIME (3:00 pm Central, 2:00 pm Mountain, 1:00 pm Pacific).

Expand your therapeutic repertoire by sharing with current MHTP students and CMPs. Gain from each participant’s ideas and tunes they have found to be helpful in playing for this type of patient in therapeutic settings. OPEN ONLY TO GRADUATES AND STUDENTS OF MHTP.

The Repertoire Development Webinars are live, interactive using Zoom. You must participate by sharing with the group, and playing to demonstrate, examples of your own repertoire for the topic presented. You will receive a recording of the complete webinar, a list of repertoire selections and sources shared among the participants and facilitator, and the CEU certificate (CMPs only) when you complete all requirements for the webinar. Must register for the webinar no later than one week prior to its start date. Space is limited.

Ami Sarasvati, CMP, is the author of the books and online courses, Learn to Play the Native American Style Flute, Musician’s Heart Journey, and Musician's Practice Journal. She teaches people how to play the Native American style flute online and trains people how to construct their ideal music practice (on any instrument) through her Musician's Practice Journal method. As a CMP since 2016, she is experienced in playing bedside for the ill and dying in a hospital setting and senior living communities. As a group facilitator, she conducts engaging activities for senior living communities, particularly in the area of dementia. Ami is also Accredited T’ai Chi Chih® Instructor, Certified Aromatherapist and Reiki Master Teacher.
