Location/Facilities
Reed College is nestled in a lovely, quiet residential area of Portland, Oregon. It is easily accessible by plane (Portland International Airport), train (Amtrak) or Portland’s extensive public transportation system.
Conference attendees will stay in newly renovated dormitory accommodations. These are Reed College students’ most desired dormitory facilities, in part because of the large rooms. Bed linens and towels will be provided. Bathrooms are communal and plentiful.
Conference-goers will have use of the college’s cyber café, the sports center, library and book store.
Meals
Reed College prides itself on providing fresh, local and organic food. A variety of dietary choices will be provided at each meal.
Registration Fees
Save money simply by taking advantage of our early-bird discounts. Just mail your registration form (Shirley: Link to Web page with Registration Form) with full payment postmarked no later than April 15, 2008.
$425 - Full Conference/Shared Room Early-Bird Rate: Includes three nights in a shared room (two twin beds), eight meals and all conference fees. After April 15: $460.
$465 - Full Conference/Private Room Early-Bird Rate: Includes a single room, eight meals and all conference fees. After April 15: $500
$320 - Full Conference/Commuter with Meals Early-Bird Rate: Includes eight meals and all conference fees. (Requires advance registration.)
$230 - Full Conference/Commuter Early-Bird Rate: Admission to all conference events. (Requires advance registration.)
$200 - Non-conference Attendees Early-Bird Rate: Room and meals only for exhibitors, spouses or friends who are not attending the conference sessions. Includes three nights in a shared room and eight meals.
$150 - Friday or Saturday Day Rate: Admission to conference activities (no meals).
$20 - Conference keynote address or individual plenary session
